The Los Angeles Kings goalie robbed Vancouver Canucks forward Loui Eriksson with a lunging glove save during the first period at Rogers Arena on Tuesday.
Canucks defenseman Alex Biega set up the play by picking up the puck in his own zone and slicing through the Kings before finding Erikson alone at the left circle. The Vancouver forward one-timed the pass toward the open net, but Petersen flew across the crease and robbed Eriksson with his glove.
The goal light came on, but replays conclusively showed Petersen kept the puck out. The pro-Vancouver crowd even oohed-and-ahhed at the incredible stop.
