Dallas Stars defenseman John Klingberg said he is ready to return to the lineup Saturday against the New York Islanders (8 p.m. ET; MSG+, FS-SW, NHL.TV), the Stars website reported.
Coach Lindy Ruff, however, called Klingberg a game-time decision.
Klingberg has missed the past seven games with a lower-body injury. He has 10 goals and career highs of 43 assists and 53 points in 66 games this season, his second in the NHL.
The Stars learned Friday they will be without forward Tyler Seguin, the League's third-leading scorer, for 3-4 weeks because of a cut to his Achilles tendon.
