If you didn't know it was the "Noche de Los Yotes" celebration at Gila River Arena on Thursday, the Arizona Coyotes special warmup jerseys certainly gave it away.

The Coyotes wore specially made sweaters before their game against the Nashville Predators featuring a colorful Calavera, or Sugar Skull, a traditional decoration for the Mexican holiday, Dia De Los Muertos.

The celebratory night coincides with the Coyotes
announcement of a Hispanic Advisory Board
.
As for atmosphere, the tone was set outside the arena with a live mariachi band.

On social media, the Coyotes were pretty fired up about the look.

After warmups, the jerseys auctioned off to benefit the Arizona Coyotes Foundation and all were sold before the end of the game.

Special edition T-shirts were also on sale at the team store.

But maybe the coolest item of the night were mystery pucks with the Sugar Skull logo signed by a member of the Coyotes. They were only on sale inside the arena.
