If you didn't know it was the "Noche de Los Yotes" celebration at Gila River Arena on Thursday, the Arizona Coyotes special warmup jerseys certainly gave it away.
The Coyotes wore specially made sweaters before their game against the Nashville Predators featuring a colorful Calavera, or Sugar Skull, a traditional decoration for the Mexican holiday, Dia De Los Muertos.
The celebratory night coincides with the Coyotes announcement of a Hispanic Advisory Board . As for atmosphere, the tone was set outside the arena with a live mariachi band.
But maybe the coolest item of the night were mystery pucks with the Sugar Skull logo signed by a member of the Coyotes. They were only on sale inside the arena.
.@LosYotes themed mystery pucks benefitting the @YotesFoundation are available for purchase tonight.
