Hischier, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, scored with 4:30 left in the second period. He also scored Monday in a 4-1 win against the Washington Capitals. Eric Gelinas scored a power-play goal for Montreal 7:09 into the second. Carey Price played the entire game and made 28 saves for the Canadiens. Keith Kinkaid made 28 for the Devils.
