It's workout video season on social media for NHL players and Jakob Chychrun has the early leader for crazy display of athleticism to beat.

The Arizona Coyotes defenseman did a seated box jump exhibiting some impressive lower body explosiveness.

Chychrun is 6-foot-2, so that box appears to be somewhere around 55 inches tall and he stuck the landing.
He even motivated a young fan to build up his lower body strength.

Last year, we had Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson's one-handed upside down handstand and this year we've got Chychrun's insane box jump.

There's still plenty of time for other players to dazzle with their offseason training feats. They just have to keep those phone cameras juiced up and ready to go.
