1. Carter Hart's save percentage splits

Hart's .945 save percentage in 24 games at home was first in the NHL among goalies to play at least that many. His .949 even-strength save percentage and his .917 power-play save percentage were first within the same parameters. Hart won 19 games at home, tied for second with Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning and one behind Jordan Binnington of the St. Louis Blues. Hart won four games on the road, tied for last with Martin Jones of the San Jose Sharks, Carter Hutton of the Buffalo Sabres, Jonathan Quick of the Los Angeles Kings and Jonathan Bernier of the Detroit Red Wings (minimum 15 games).

2. Shot attempts percentage

The Flyers were tied with the Nashville Predators for 10th in the NHL in shot attempts percentage at 50.9 percent, and their SAT percentage when behind in games (53.4 percent) was tied for 11th with the Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Maple Leafs. Their SAT percentage was impressive considering they started 48.4 percent of shifts in the offensive zone (26th).

3. Goals per game

Philadelphia scored 3.29 goals per game last season, seventh in the NHL and notable considering forward Claude Giroux, who led the Flyers in scoring in 2017-18 (102 points) and 2018-19 (85 points), scored 53 points (21 goals, 32 assists), his lowest total since he scored 48 points (13 goals, 35 assists) in the shortened 2012-13 season. The Flyers scored 148 goals at 5-on-5 (12th) and 47 power-play goals (seventh).
