2. Shot attempts percentage

The Flyers were tied with the Nashville Predators for 10th in the NHL in shot attempts percentage at 50.9 percent, and their SAT percentage when behind in games (53.4 percent) was tied for 11th with the Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Maple Leafs. Their SAT percentage was impressive considering they started 48.4 percent of shifts in the offensive zone (26th).

3. Goals per game

Philadelphia scored 3.29 goals per game last season, seventh in the NHL and notable considering forward Claude Giroux, who led the Flyers in scoring in 2017-18 (102 points) and 2018-19 (85 points), scored 53 points (21 goals, 32 assists), his lowest total since he scored 48 points (13 goals, 35 assists) in the shortened 2012-13 season. The Flyers scored 148 goals at 5-on-5 (12th) and 47 power-play goals (seventh).
