A night after the Lightning were lucky to escape Boston with a win, they left no doubt about who deserved the points on Sunday in Philadelphia.
Tampa Bay's offense exploded for five goals in the opening 30 minutes, as they cruised to a 7-1 victory over the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center. The Bolts led by two goals after 20 minutes before essentially putting the game to bed with three tallies in the first half of the second period.

Ryan McDonagh (1G, 2A), Victor Hedman (3A), Ross Colton (3A) and Corey Perry (2G, 1A) all recorded three-point nights. Hedman and his defensive partner Jan Rutta put up big numbers in the +/- category as well, combining for a +9 rating in the win.
Defensively, Tampa Bay got a strong performance from Brian Elliott, who made 38 saves on 39 shots.
With the victory, the Bolts completed a sweep of the regular season series against the Flyers. It also extends Tampa Bay's winning streak over Philadelphia to an impressive 10 games.
The Bolts head north of the border for the final three games of this road trip. First up is a game against the Canadiens on Tuesday in a rematch of last season's Stanley Cup Final.
Scoring Summary
1st Period
TBL 1, PHI 0
8:24 Ryan McDonagh (2) - Steven Stamkos, Mathieu Joseph
After dishing to Steven Stamkos on the rush, Ryan McDonagh headed to the front of the net and was on hand to sweep home a rebound for the game-opening goal. Carter Hart was able to stop Stamkos' initial shot but couldn't deny McDonagh on the second chance.
TBL 2, PHI 0
9:24 Corey Perry (4) - Ryan McDonagh, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare
Exactly one minute after going in front, the Bolts scored again to double their lead. McDonagh let loose a one-timer from the point that went wide of Hart. Corey Perry was left alone behind the net, however, and he gathered the puck and snuck it home past Hart's outstretched right pad.
2nd Period
TBL 3, PHI 0
2:56 Taylor Raddysh (2) - Victor Hedman, Ross Colton
After going without a goal for the first 21 games of his NHL career, Taylor Raddysh has now scored in back-to-back games. From the top of the right circle, Raddysh made it a 3-0 game with a perfectly placed a slapshot under the crossbar.
TBL 4, PHI 0
6:47 Boris Katchouk (1) - Ross Colton, Victor Hedman
The rookies' impressive weekend continued, as Boris Katchouk also broke through for his first NHL goal. Hart stopped Ross Colton in tight but left a juicy rebound sitting to his right. Katchouk pounced before the puck could be cleared away and popped home a backhander to stretch Tampa Bay's lead to four.
TBL 5, PHI 0
8:34 Mathieu Joseph (4) - Unassisted - SHG
Hart's evening ended early after a bad misplay resulted in a shorthanded goal for Mathieu Joseph. After the Bolts dumped the puck into the Flyers' zone, Hart, who was under no pressure, tried to clear it up the wall but had the pass intercepted by Joseph. While falling to the ice, Joseph threw the puck into Philadelphia's vacant net giving Tampa Bay shorthanded goals in back-to-back games. Martin Jones manned the Philly net for the remainder of the game with Hart getting pulled after allowing five goals on 14 shots.
3rd Period
TBL 6, PHI 0
5:29 Pat Maroon (5) - Corey Perry, Victor Hedman
Pat Maroon set up at the near post and put home a cross-crease feed from Perry to add to the lead early in the third.
TBL 6, PHI 1
7:04 Cam Atkinson (8) - Claude Giroux, Keith Yandle - PPG
The Flyers ended Brian Elliott's shutout bid with a power play at 7:04 of the third. Cam Atkinson went unmarked to the left of Elliott and deflected home Claude Giroux's initial shot.
TBL 7, PHI 1
14:15 Corey Perry (5) - Ryan McDonagh, Ross Colton - PPG
Tampa Bay answered back with a power play goal of their own when McDonagh's shot from the high slot deflected off Perry in front and past Jones.
