Lightning Girls to host second annual summer camp

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning announced today that the Lightning Girls will host their second annual Summer Camp for girls ages 6-10 from July 16-20 at AMALIE Arena. The camp will focus primarily on dance, fitness and building a healthy lifestyle, along with additional activities led by current members from the Lightning Girls team.

The Lightning Girls Summer Camp is a five-day opportunity for young girls to work alongside members of the Lightning Girls squad at AMALIE Arena. The girls will be taught a dance routine which will be performed for parents and families of the participants on the last day of camp. The camp will include a trip to the Florida Aquarium, Lightning Made street hockey clinics, arts and crafts and more.   

Camp hours each day will be 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (Drop off at AMALIE Arena starts at 8:30 a.m. Pick up ends at 2:30 p.m.) Participants will be separated into difference age groups. All campers will receive a Lightning Girls Summer Camp t-shirt, autograph card signed by the entire Lightning Girls team and pom poms

Those interested can register at and the cost is $250 per person. Once registered, parents will receive an email with full details including daily activities, pick-up and drop-off procedure, as well as waiver information.
