TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed goaltender Ryan Fanti to a one-year, two-way contract, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Fanti, 25, appeared in seven games with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League last season, posting a 3-1-0 record, 1.45 goals-against average and .946 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 199-pound netminder also played in 37 games with the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears last season and logged an 18-13-5 record with a 2.71 goals-against average and .907 save percentage.
Fanti was originally undrafted out of the University of Minnesota-Duluth and signed his first NHL contract on March 28, 2022, with the Edmonton Oilers.
