Ben Bishop

Goalie Ben Bishop is expected to be ready for Team USA's World Cup of Hockey 2016 training camp, Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman told the Tampa Bay Times on Wednesday.
Bishop, who sustained a lower-body injury during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final last season, was expected to return to the ice Tuesday for the first time since the injury, according to ESPN.

Last season, Bishop was 35-21-4, led the NHL with a 2.06 goals-against average, and was second with a .926 save percentage. He was a finalist for the Vezina Trophy.
Team USA will train at Nationwide Arena in Columbus in early September and will play its first World Cup exhibition game there, against Team Canada, on Sept. 9.
The eight-team tournament will be held at Air Canada Centre in Toronto from Sept 17 through Oct. 1.
