5️⃣ Things To Know For Tonight's Game

  1. The LA Kings are back on the road for a short, one-game trip to Las Vegas. The Kings posted a 1-1 record last season at T-Mobile Arena, including a 6-5 shootout win over the Golden Knights back in October 2025.
  2. Forwards Alex Laferriere and Erik Haula are the only two players on the team with a point in all three Kings games this season. With Mats Zuccarello and Kevin Fiala out of the lineup, Haula and Laferriere are expected to play tonight on a line with forward Trevor Moore. Moore and Laferriere were an effective pairing last season, with Quinton Byfield at center, and will look to continue that with Haula.
  3. On the injury front, forwards Mats Zuccarello (week-to-week) and Alex Turcotte (day-to-day) are expected to miss tonight's game. Neither player practiced yesterday with the team and both were placed on injured reserve this morning. Additionally, Byfield, who missed Thursday's skate, did practice yesterday and is expected to play tonight.
  4. Forward Jared Wright was recalled from the AHL's Ontario Reign yesterday and is with the team tonight in Vegas, after signing a two-year contract extension this morning. Wright, who played 23 regular-season games with the Kings last season, has two goals and three points in two AHL games played, including the game-winning goal in overtime in the Reign's season opener against Coachella Valley.
  5. The Kings posted a 6-for-6 showing on the penalty kill in Tuesday's defeat against Florida. Tonight, the man-down unit will face a more difficult test against a Vegas team that ranked sixth in the NHL on the power play last season at 24.6 percent. The Golden Knights scored five power-play goals in four games against the Kings last season, clicking at 41.7 percent.

Last Game's 👑 Lineup ⬇️

Players to Watch

Kings - Brandt Clarke: Clarke found the back of the net in three of the four games he played against the Golden Knights last season. Clarke scored a pair of game-tying goals last season versus Vegas, including a third-period tally in a 6-5 overtime win at T-Mobile Arena last October.

Golden Knights - Jack Eichel: No player in the NHL has more assists (9) or points (12) in the early stages of the 2026-27 season than Eichel. In three games played against the Kings last season, Eichel led all skaters with seven assists and nine points, including six points in the two games played in Vegas.
