LA Kings to Co-Host Food and Toy Drive in Burbank on December 15

Ahead of the Holiday Season, the Kings Care Foundation, The Salvation Army and Blue Shield of California are partnering to host a drive-thru Food and Toy Drive at the LA Kings Ice at Pickwick Gardens in Burbank on Tuesday, December 15th.
From 3:30pm - 5:30pm, LA Kings fans, local residents and beyond are encouraged to visit LA Kings Ice at Pickwick Gardens (1001 W Riverside Dr, Burbank, CA 91506) with trunks full of non-perishable food items and new packaged toys.
Volunteers will be standing by to unload donations through contactless interactions, ensuring the safety of all involved.

The first 100 donors will receive an LA Kings / Ontario Reign branded umbrella, plus one lucky donor will receive a team-signed jersey in a random drawing.
This event comes after a successful drive-thru food drive in November to launch Red Kettle, which raises financial support for critical programs and services year-round, with a drive-thru food-drive. During that event hundreds of food items were donated to fill The Salvation Army's food pantries ahead of Thanksgiving.
This event is made possible with the help of the LA Kings. G.O.A.L.S. program. G.O.A.L.S. is an umbrella program encompassing all LA Kings and Blue Shield of California sponsored character-building and wellness activities. By championing Green solutions, Open outlooks, Active bodies, Local leaders, and Sharp minds, G.O.A.L.S. equips children in Los Angeles with the practical skills and tools they need to lead healthy lives.
All food and toys collected will be distributed to non-profit organizations around Los Angeles that serve struggling families this holiday season.
