LA Kings Provide Dental Care to 300 Children as Part of G.O.A.L.S Program
The Kings partnered with TeamSmile to set up a mobile dental clinic to provide free dental care at a local YMCA

On Friday, October 12th the LA Kings partnered with TeamSmile to set up a mobile dental clinic at the Crenshaw Family YMCA. Close to 300 children were given free dental care as part of the LA Kings G.O.A.L.S. program sponsored by Blue Shield of California.
"We want to thank the LA Kings for sponsoring the event with Team Smile! This event had such a great impact on the youth in our communities, and the immediate benefits were apparent," said Simone Jackson, Senior Program Director for the Crenshaw Family YMCA. "From cleanings, to fillings and extractions, the event provided much needed care to our youth that otherwise wouldn't have been able to receive care."
TeamSmile works to partner oral health professionals with professional athletic organizations to provide life-changing dental care to underserved children in our communities. While they have been working with sports teams around the country for close to 10 years now, the Kings were the first NHL team to sponsor a TeamSmile event.
Along with the free dental care, the children participated in arts and crafts, played ball hockey with the Kings Hockey Development Team, and have a dance party with Bailey!
