LA Kings Join Long Beach All City Beach Day on August 11

The LA Kings will take part in Long Beach All City Beach Day tomorrow, Friday, August 11, from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
More than 2,000 kids ranging from ages 5-14 from 32 Long Beach Parks, Recreation & Marine Department Day Camp and Summer Fun Day sites will come together to enjoy a day of fun in the sun.
The kids will participate in ball hockey, beach sports, a dance contest, obstacle courses, sand sculpture activities, and have free play time in the ocean. All of the kids will be treated to lunch and snacks which has generously been provided by Papa John's Pizza, Lenny & Larry's, and Coca-Cola.

This event brings youth from all over Long Beach to one location to meet new friends, play, exercise and for some experience the beach for the first time. The event also helps kick off registration for Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Fall Sports, where LA Kings Ball Hockey, supported by Delta Air Lines and Blue Shield of California, will be featured for the first time.
