LAK-All-City-Beach-Day

On Thursday, August 16th, as part of the Long Beach All City Beach Day, the LA Kings partnered with the Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation to bring 2,000 kids together from across Long Beach.

Children from summer camps across the city were bussed in for the annual beach day and gifted a Kings backpack with school supplies before playing beach and street hockey games where Kings staff, Bailey and the Ice Crew joined in on the festivities.

"Once again, the Long Beach All City Beach Day event was a tremendous success and we were so happy to be a part for the third year in a row. The children clearly had an amazing time playing all sorts of games on the beach, as did all of us at the Kings who couldn't help but join them in the festivities," said Jennifer Pope, Vice President of Kings Care Foundation and Community Relations.
