The Los Angeles Kings were scheduled to publically unveil a historic monument outside STAPLES Center tomorrow, Saturday, to help highlight the club's 50th Anniversary Celebration. The event, which was to be broadcast live on FOX Sports West, has been cancelled due to anticipated inclement weather.

The Kings Communications Department still plans to distribute Monument information, a photo and a "making of…" video tomorrow.
The new storied Kings monument created by Rotblatt Amrany Studio will exist amongst the other legendary statues outside STAPLES Center. This monument - made of bronze, granite and glass - helps serve to commemorate 50 years of Kings hockey.
The Kings host the Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Tomorrow also features the Grand Opening of the LA Kings Holiday Ice Rink at L.A. LIVE presented by Coca-Cola.
