Two LA Kings super fans, Rob and Melinda Chauvie - who have not missed a Kings game in 6 years - tied the knot Saturday, December 8th prior to puck drop.
Both from Porter Ranch, California, they couldn't think of a better spot to commit to each other for the rest of their lives.

Rob and Melinda love the Kings community and how easy it is to connect with other Kings fans. Over the years, they have hosted multiple watch parties to cheer on the Kings, but also to bring Kings fans together for a good cause. At every watch party, each guest brings a toy that is donated to a certain charity, such as Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

The newlyweds wanted to do something different for their wedding and loved the idea of starting their life together with the Kings. In their vows, they promised to love and honor each other whether the Kings were winning or losing. Now that's commitment!
Rob wore his favorite Drew Doughty jersey and Melinda wore her wedding dress. They had created custom made bridesmaid and groomsmen Kings jerseys, black for the men and white for the ladies.
They tied the knot prior to puck drop, with enough time to catch pregame soccer and even chat with Luc Robitaille, who congratulated the couple on their special day.

Throughout the game, Rob and Milinda were brought onto the ice to face off against each other in a shoot out, a true wedding test if you ask us. They got to hang out with the Ice Crew and see the game from a VIP point of view.
Not only was it Rob's favorite player, Drew Doughty's birthday, but the Kings beat the Vegas Golden Knights with a 5-1 win!

The two they will plan their honeymoon in the offseason, but for now, they will enjoy being married and continue cheering on the Kings. It was a day they will never forget, and sweet victory for all.
