Doughty-picks-split

Voting for the NHL All-Star Game started on Dec. 1, with fans getting the opportunity to pick the four division captains for the game at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Jan. 28.
With the latest voting totals to be released Wednesday, LA Kings defenseman Drew Doughty shared with NHL.com his picks for the four division captains, and cast his vote for a few of his friends.

The Kings top center has 39 points in 35 games this season, and he is on pace to set new career-highs in goals, assists and points.

And he's stepping up in a big way in the absence of Jeff Carter.

Central Division

Jonathan Toews, Chicago Blackhawks

"We see those teams a lot, they have a lot of guys I would like to give it to, but I've got to go with Toews. He's the ultimate captain, he's won three Stanley] Cups."
