A Weekend of Fun: LA Kings Public Skate and Paint the Ice

This past weekend, the LA Kings hosted several events for the public and Season Ticket Members.
Saturday night, members of the public were invited to come skate on STAPLES Center ice.

We don't think this happened ...

... but it could have been funny.
Individuals were invited to come skate with friends and family with fun lighting while listening to some great music.

To continue the weekend fun on Sunday, Season Ticket Members were invited to the Annual Paint the Ice event, presented by Dunn-Edwards Paints.

This members-only event allows LA Kings STMs the chance to write a message or show off their artistic abilities on the ice at STAPLES Center.

And we couldn't agree more with this...

Before or after painting, members had the chance to try their hand at our VR goalie experience, or play a game of cornhole on the concourse.
Plus, the two most recently retired banners, Rob Blake and Bob Miller, were brought down from the rafters and made available for photos - which, of course, Bob Miller himself showed up for.
