The road to the 2019 World Junior Hockey Championships starts in Kamloops, BC.
That's the site of the World Junior Summer Showcase, where Canada, the United States, Sweden and Finland start to formulate their rosters for official World Junior camps in December.
The New York Islanders will be well-represented at this year's summer showcase, with Oliver Wahlstrom, Noah Dobson, Logan Cockerill and Ben Mirageas all in attendance.

Wahlstrom, the 11th-overall pick in June's draft, and Mirageas, the Isles' 2017 third-rounder, will play on USA's white team, while Cockerill, the Isles' 2017 seventh-rounder, will play for the USA's blue team.
Dobson, the 12th-overall pick in this year's draft, is representing Canada.

The World Junior Showcase officially runs July 28 to August 4, but games begin on Monday, July 30. See below for a full schedule and TV scheduling.
The 2019 World Junior Hockey Championships will take place in Vancouver BC and Victoria BC from Dec. 26 - Jan 5.
