The eight-week program is available to boys and girls and will be taught by former-Islanders Arron Asham and Radek Martinek. Cost is $150, but that includes brand-new CCM Islanders-branded equipment including:

  • Helmet
  • Shoulder pads
  • Elbow pads
  • Gloves
  • Pants
  • Shin pads
  • Socks
  • Skates
  • Jersey
  • Equipment bag
  • Stick

The Future Islanders program is limited to 300 total participants. The Learn To Play initiative is geared towards kids who have not already played in a house league or higher but have had some skating experience. This is an introduction to the great game of hockey for first-time players and a transition program to those leagues.
