Not long after touching down on the west coast as a member of the Washington Capitals, Chandler Stephenson had to head back across the country to join the Vegas Golden Knights after being traded on Dec. 2.

Stephenson arrived in Newark in time to suit up for Vegas as the team took on the New Jersey Devils in the second game of a back-to-back. As became an unofficial tradition with the Golden Knights in 2019-20, Stephenson found the back of the net in his first game in gold while Jonathan Marchessault led the way with three goals in a 4-3 win.

Stephenson's Debut
Stephenson became the third Golden Knight in 2019-20 to score in his team debut with this goal in the second period.
