The Vegas Golden Knights (37-23-8) shutout the New Jersey Devils (26-28-12), 3-0, on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
The game started off to a slow start until Max Pacioretty broke the tie early in the second period to give the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead. After killing off two power plays in the second, the Golden Knights were able to go into the third with the lead. Less than a minute into the third William Karlsson scored a quick goal to put Vegas up 2-0. Ryan Reaves potted a rebound goal to extend the lead to 3-0 and the Golden Knights held off the Devils for a shutout victory.
