Earlier today, the Philadelphia Flyers met with 10-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient and Egg Harbor, NJ resident Zachary Wertz and extended his original two-day contract to officially rejoin the Flyers organization for the upcoming 2023 NHL Draft. Included in his contract extension was an invitation from Flyers GM Daniel Briere and Flyers President of Hockey Operations Keith Jones to join them at the 2023 NHL draft where the Flyers will make the 7th overall pick in Nashville, TN on June 28. Zachary was presented with an official 2023 Flyers draft hat, an oversized ticket, and a giftbag to prepare him for his trip. At the draft, Zachary will get a behind-the-scenes look into the Flyers draftee's first day with the organization and get a one-of-a-kind experience in Nashville.
