The Devils got their first on-ice look at the new power-play units at Sunday afternoon's practice.
The top unit consisted of Dougie Hamilton, Jesper Bratt, Pavel Zacha, Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier. The second unit featured P.K. Subban (Colton White took his place after Subban left practice prematurely), Tomas Tatar, Yegor Sharangovich, Janne Kuokkanen and Dawson Mercer.
"I saw a lot of good things from puck movement. We scored a few goals," head coach Lindy Ruff said.
