Vancouver, B.C.- The Vancouver Canucks announced today that they will be hosting an online auction in support of the catastrophic wildfires across British Columbia. All funds raised will directly support immediate and ongoing relief, recovery and resilience efforts by the Canadian Red Cross B.C. Fires Appeal.

"This wildfire season has been devastating for so many communities and families, not only in British Columbia, but around the globe," said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations. "By connecting with our fans to offer a variety of once-in-a-lifetime experiences and prizes, we are hoping to provide aid to those in need and help fund recovery efforts in the areas which have been impacted the most. We look forward to raising significant funds to support our community."

The online auction will begin on August 31 at 10:00am and run through September 8 at 5:00pm, with several one-of-a-kind experiential prizes to be won. Bidding for the online auction will be available at Vanbase.ca.
