There will be no shortage of exciting activations and fan engagement opportunities on the evening, beginning with a Party on the Plaza pre-game where fans can capture this historic moment against the Hall of Fame photo wall before heading inside to sign the photo walls dedicated to each player. There will be many occasions to commemorate the trio inside the arena and celebrate these three teammates who spent eight years together entertaining and thrilling us with their play.
Fans will hear favourite memories from some of the players' former teammates and have a chance to share their own while reminiscing throughout the game with highlight packages of Daniel, Henrik and Roberto on the video board, in addition to intermission and in-game interviews.
Before the game, Canucks players will take to the ice in specially crested warmup jerseys displaying the namebars of D. Sedin, H. Sedin, and Luongo. These jerseys will then be available for auction on Vanbase.ca. Additional limited-edition merchandise, including replica Hall of Fame plaques, will be on sale at the Canucks Team Store and
Vanbase.ca
. Ticketholders who attend the game wearing an authentic Sedin or Luongo Canucks jersey will also have the ability to receive a free Hockey Hall of Fame patch to be crested onto their jersey.
Tim Hortons will be on-site, distributing limited-edition hockey cards featuring Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin, and Roberto Luongo, handed out individually to the first 6,000 fans as they enter the building.
The Canucks for Kids Fund will also be hosting a 50/50 raffle with an estimated jackpot of $250,000. Proceeds from the draw will benefit select charities of choice by the Sedins and Luongo.
