The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today a new multiyear partnership with
Great Lakes Brewing Company
(GLBC) that gives the Ohio-based craft brewer name entitlement and branding rights to the main concourse bar by section 117 that overlooks the OhioHealth Ice Haus.
Fans attending last Friday's home opener against the Carolina Hurricanes got a first look at the new destination featuring a trio of GLBC's year-round beers on tap: Dortmunder Gold Lager, Holy Moses White Ale, and Commodore Perry IPA. A rotating selection of GLBC's seasonal beers like Oktoberfest and Christmas Ale will also be available on tap. Additional GLBC beer will be available throughout the arena and in bottles at the bar.
Live music will be an occasional feature throughout the season. The GLBC branded space will also be equipped with yard games and television screens so guests can follow along with the action as they enjoy their Great Lakes beer.
