St. Louis old courthouse gateway arch road trip 2018 January 25

The Colorado Avalanche is on a three-game trip before the NHL All-Star Break over the weekend. The Avs makes their first journey to Canada with a back-to-back set against the Original Six Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens before finishing the trek in St. Louis against the division-rival Blues.
ColoradoAvalanche.com is writing and taking photos of the trip.
The Avalanche woke up in St. Louis on Wednesday morning to blue skies, the first time the team has seen the sun during this road trip.

Colorado has no team activities scheduled on this day, except for rest. The Avalanche is coming off its eighth back-to-back set of the season, and the focus for the players was to recover for the last stop on this three-game trek.
Most of the Avs stayed at the hotel to get some rest and help their bodies recover after the team arrived in St. Louis in the early morning hours.
After Thursday's game against the Blues, the Avalanche will travel back to Denver for the All-Star Break before beginning another three-city trip next week in Western Canada.
