The Colorado Avalanche will host its annual Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, April 3, at 7 p.m. MT against the St. Louis Blues at Ball Arena.
Before and during the matchup, the Avs will recognize and thank military members for their service to the country. There are five heroes of the game that will be in attendance that will be participating in player welcomes and in the Altitude broadcast.

Veterans and members of the military from local branches will have a chance to interact with and wave to members of the Avalanche as they enter Ball Arena through a video conference prior to the contest.
There will be special pregame ceremonies that include a unique projection, a military welcome to the team as it takes the ice for the contest, military intros back to play after each intermission and more.
For the Military Appreciation Night game on Saturday, players will wear commemorative warmup jerseys that will be available in an online auction at a later date with a portion of proceeds going to USO Colorado.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.
