Anton Lindholm Philadelphia Flyers 2017 November 4

The Colorado Avalanche has recalled defenseman Anton Lindholm from the American Hockey League's Colorado Eagles, and he will make his season debut tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Lindholm has five assists through 20 outings with the Eagles this campaign and has four assists in 60 career NHL contests.

"He was part of our team last year, he did a nice job for us," head coach Jared Bednar said. "He had a tough break at the start of their season down there, he got hurt and missed some time. Now, he has been back playing and playing well.
"We are getting good reports on him and good views on him down there, so it's good to get him back. We know he is not going to cheat us from his effort and his try, that's what we need. We need someone to skate and play hard."
Lindholm will be on a duo with Patrik Nemeth, a spot that Nikita Zadorov had been in for much of the season. Zadorov suffered a lower-body, muscular tweak in Colorado's last outing, a 2-1 win against the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, and will miss the Avs' next two games with the ailment.
Goalie Philipp Grubauer will make his second consecutive start in net tonight after stopping 35-of-36 shots versus the Canadiens. He is 8-0-3 in his last 11 starts, the longest stretch of his career without a regulation loss in games that he's began in net.
Bednar said forward Sheldon Dries will join the Eagles later today to play in tonight's AHL contest in Loveland against the Bakersfield Condors.
The Avalanche will complete its sixth back-to-back set of the season on Saturday at the Arizona Coyotes before the team begins its NHL Holiday Break.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup. All forward combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
