For the second game in a row, the Colorado Avalanche will face the Vegas Golden Knights and will use a non-traditional lineup of seven defensemen and 11 forwards.
Rookie defenseman Anton Lindholm will replace Duncan Siemens on the blue line. Lindholm has skated in 47 contests this season and has recorded four assists.

Semyon Varlamov is set to appear in his 21st consecutive game and make his 19th start since Feb. 14. He is 8-2-3 in his last 14 appearances with a 2.18 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage.
Varlamov made 39 saves on Saturday before stopping all three shootout attempts from Vegas and now has a .755 career save percentage in shootouts, the highest all-time among goaltenders who have faced at least 100 attempts.
Spencer Martin will serve as Varlamov's backup goaltender as Jonathan Bernier will not be available as he continues to recover from an infection from a cut on his upper body.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup. All line combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
