Erik Johnson Calgary Flames Colorado Avalanche 1 November 2018

CALGARY, Alberta--The Colorado Avalanche wraps up a back-to-back set in Western Canada this evening as it takes on the Calgary Flames at Scotiabank Saddledome.
It is the third and final meeting of the season between the Avalanche and Flames, and the second one to be played in Alberta.

Colorado did not hold a morning skate today after playing at the Winnipeg Jets last night, so the club's exact lineup versus Calgary won't be known until closer to game time.
Goaltender Semyon Varlamov is expected to start in net for the Avs after Philipp Grubauer guarded the pipes in the first half of the consecutive-night set. Varlamov has an 11-8-5 record, 2.80 goals-against average and .912 save percentage in 25 games this season.
Varlamov last played on Dec. 31 against the Los Angeles Kings, as he missed two games with a minor lower-body injury before backing up Grubauer versus the Jets.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup based on the team's starting alignment from Tuesday night in Winnipeg. All line combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
