The Avalanche did not hold a morning skate today, so the club's exact lineup and starting goaltender won't be known until closer to game time, which is set for 5:30 p.m. MT.
Three players that Colorado acquired this past week ahead of the NHL trade deadline could suit up in tonight's contest: goaltender Devan Dubnyk, defenseman Patrik Nemeth (who has been dealing with a minor upper-body injury) and forward Carl Soderberg. Nemeth and Soderberg previously played for the Avalanche, while Dubnyk has been the backup keeper for the past two outings.
Prior to heading out for this one-game trip, the Avs made several moves with their American Hockey League affiliate, the Colorado Eagles. The Avalanche reassigned Keaton Middleton, while recalling Dan Renouf and Conor Timmins to its taxi squad.
