Philipp Grubauer Arizona Coyotes Save 29 March 2019

ST. LOUIS--Goaltender Philipp Grubauer is expected make his eighth consecutive start in net for the Colorado Avalanche tonight as the team begins a back-to-back set at the St. Louis Blues.
Grubauer has played in every game since March 17, recording a 6-0-1 record, 1.55 goals-against average and .957 save percentage in that time. The netminder recently wrapped up one of the best months in franchise history, as his .955 save percentage in 11 games (10 starts) was the highest ever for the third month of the calendar year, besting Patrick Roy's .952 mark from March 2003.

Overall, the Rosenheim, Germany, native's save percentage in March was the second highest in any month in Avalanche/Quebec Nordiques history, trailing only Peter Budaj's .957 from December 2009.
On Sunday, defenseman Mark Barberio returned to the Avs following his two-game conditioning loan in the American Hockey League with the Colorado Eagles. Barberio, who is expected to be a healthy scratch this evening, has missed 41 NHL contests this season with various injuries and last played for the Avalanche on Jan. 21 against the Nashville Predators.
Colorado isn't expected to make any changes to its lineup for the first half of the team's final back-to-back set of the season and final meeting of the campaign against St. Louis. The Avalanche hosts the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday at Pepsi Center.
Below is the Avs' projected lineup based on the forward combinations and defensive pairings from the start of their last game on Friday against the Arizona Coyotes. They are subject to change.
