For the first time since 2004, the World Cup of Hockey was held, highlighting some of the games' biggest stars. The San Jose Sharks were well represented, with eight named and seven participated. But there was no bigger representation than on Team Canada, which had four Sharks on the team: Brent Burns, Logan Couture, Joe Thornton, and Marc-Edouard Vlasic.
It made it extra special when Team Canada ended up winning the World Cup, defeating Team Europe in two games.
