We've got the latest Sens notes and quotes before tonight's 7:30 p.m. start at Canadian Tire Centre against the Buffalo Sabres.

Projected Line-up

Sens interim head coach Marc Crawford spoke with the media following this morning's skate and relayed that he'll be using the same line-up tonight as he did against the Oilers on the weekend. Zack Smith (day-to-day) did skate this morning but has been ruled out for the second consecutive game with a "nagging issue" while Cody Ceci will miss his third straight contest after leaving the game in Vancouver with an injury.
"It looks like he's getting better," said Crawford about Smith's availability. "He could be a possibility for Thursday night. Cody didn't skate again today but he is improving."

In Goal

Craig Anderson (15-25-4) will make his third start in a row for the Senators after picking up his first win since mid-December on Saturday in Edmonton.
"It was a good finish to the road trip for the team and myself," he said about earning the decision against the Oilers. "It was a long time coming. There were a lot of good things for a long time but I just wasn't getting the end result."

Season Series

This is the third and final meeting between these division rivals with the season series all even at 1-1-0. Some good news for the Sens tonight as the home team has been victorious in both previous games this season which included a 4-2 win versus Buffalo way back on November 1st, 2108 in Ottawa. Ryan Dzingel, Dylan DeMelo, Colin White and Bobby Ryan provided the offence for the Senators that night while Anderson made a whopping 46 saves to pick up the victory.
