We take a look at 5 things you need to know before the puck drops on tonight's #ThrowbackThursday match-up against the Nashville Predators.

1. Starting Goalies

Craig Anderson gets the night off tonight and will back-up Mike Condon who is making his third start in a Sens uniform. Condon is 2-0-0 this season with a ridiculous goals against average (0.41) and save percentage (.985) in his two appearances this season.
At the other end of the rink, Pekka Rinne makes his second start of the season against the Sens for the Predators. Rinne was very good in their first meeting a little over a week ago in Nashville making 33 saves en route to a 3-1 victory over the Senators.

2. Throwback Thursday

Throwback Thursday games are back this season which means the Sens will be wearing their beautiful heritage jerseys tonight against the Predators. The goaltenders are getting in on the fun this year as well and tonight Mike Condon is breaking out his Ron Tugnutt inspired mask.
It's all throwback prices until 7 p.m. so come early and grab yourself some $1 hot dogs or $1 small pops.

3. Projected line-up

So pretty hefty shuffling for tonight's game. After not taking part in this morning's skate, Mike Hoff will be inactive against the Predators and the coach has him listed as day-to-day. Max McCormick was recalled from Binghamton as a replacement. Here's how the lines and pairing are shaping up.

4. From the coach

On being more prepared to face the Predators after their last meeting:
They're a team that likes to take off. Lots of cycles and they're up and down. We got caught quite a few times in our last game against them. They flip pucks out and they get guys taking off and we weren't ready for it. We played a wide open game with them and I don't think if you play a wide open game with a team that's great at the wide open, you're falling into their game. We want to make sure we have a better structure today and be more aware of what's coming at us.
