Forward Ty Ronning picked up a goal and an assist in Vancouver's 6-3 loss to Kamloops Saturday night in the Western Hockey League. The 2016 seventh round pick has 10 points in his last eight games and 18 goals and 20 assists for 38 points in 41 games this season for the Giants.
Brad Morrison scored a goal in Prince George's 5-4 win over Calgary. Morrison, selected by the Rangers in the 2015 fourth round, has 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points in 44 games this season with the Cougars.

Wrapping things up in the WHL is Ryan Gropp, who had an assist Seattle's 4-3 overtime win over Everett Saturday night to extend his point streak to three games. The 2015 second round selection has 10 goals and 17 assists in 34 games with the Thunderbirds.
Over in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gabriel Fontaineextended his goal/point streak to four with a tally in Rouyn-Noranda's 5-1 win over Shawinigan Saturday evening. The 2016 sixth round pick has six goals and two assists in his previous four games, and 15 goals and 18 assists for 33 points in 35 games overall this season with the Huskies.
Down in the college ranks, goaltender Tyler Wallstopped 14 shots in a 2-1 UMass Lowell victory over UMass Saturday. The 2016 sixth round pick is 13-3-1 with a 1.89 GAA and a .927 SV% during his first season with the No. 6 River Hawks.
Fellow goaltender Adam Huska made 40 saves in a losing effort for UConn Saturday night in a game played outdoors at Boston's Fenway Park.
Lastly, Nicklas Jensen scored a goal and John Gilmour, Mat Bodie and Adam Tambellini each had assists in Hartford's 4-2 loss to St. John's. Brandon Halverson made 30 saves in the loss.
Jensen has four goals in his last three games and five in his last five and leads the team in both goals (18) and points (28) in 33 games this season.
