Gropp has points in 18 of his last 19 games, totaling 42 points during that streak. Saturday was Gropp's 18th multi-poing game of the season. He now has 28 goals and 42 assists for 70 points, which ties his career-high set a season ago.
Forward Ty Ronning had an assist and was named the game's third star in Vancouver's 3-1 loss to Victoria Saturday. The 2016 seventh round pick has points in three straight games (2 G, 2 A) and 23 goals and 24 assists for 47 points in 58 games for the Giants this season.
