Prospect Filip Chytil scored a goal for the Czech Republic in its 3-1 victory over Finland at the opening game of the 2017 U20 Four Nations Tournament on Thursday. Chytil opened the scoring with a power play tally in the first period.

Chytil and the Czechs will face fellow Rangers prospect Calle Sjalin and Sweden Friday. Sjalin was kept off the scoresheet Thursday against Russia.
Forward Dominik Lakatos scored a goal for Liberec in a 4-3 overtime loss to Vaxjo in the Champions Hockey League. The 2017 sixth-round pick had three shots on goal and finished the game with 14 PIMs.
Lias Andersson had four shots on goal and won 50 percent of his draws in a 5-4 overtime win for Frolunda against the Zurich Lions.
Patrik Virta won 78 percent of his faceoffs and had three shots on goal for TPS in a 5-1 loss to Mountfield HK in the CHL.
