Igor Shesterkin, G, SKA St. Petersburg (KHL)- Shesterkin earned a win in each of his three appearances last week, posting a 1.00 GAA, a .963 SV% (77 saves on 80 shots), and 1 SO over the span. The Rangers' fourth round pick (118th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft has posted a 14-0-0 record, along with a 1.06 GAA, a .959 SV%, and 6 SO in his last 15 KHL appearances.

In 21 KHL appearances in 2016-17, Shesterkin has posted a 17-1-1 record, along with a 1.39 GAA, a .946 SV%, and 7 SO. He leads the KHL in SO, ranks second in GAA, and ranks third in SV% this season.

Ryan Gropp, LW, Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) - Gropp tallied an assist in both of Seattle's game last week (two assists). The Rangers' second round pick (41st overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft extended his point streak to eight games (two goals, seven assists) and his assist streak to four games. Gropp has tallied 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in 11 games with the Thunderbirds in 2016-17, and he ranks second on Seattle (min. two games played) in points per game this season (0.91).

Sean Day, D, Windsor Spitfires (OHL) - Day registered two points (one goal, one assist) and posted a plus-four rating in Windsor's 4-3 win against Peterborough on Nov. 13. The Rangers' third round pick (81st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has recorded a point in nine of 13 OHL games this season, registering 12 points (six goals, six assists). Day is tied for fourth among OHL defensemen in goals this season (six). He leads OHL defensemen in goals per game (0.46) and ranks sixth among OHL defensemen in points per game (0.92) in 2016-17.

Emerging from the Pack

Marek Hrivik tallied a point in all three of Hartford's games last week, recording two goals and one assist. He has notched a point in 10 of 13 games this season, tallying 12 points (six goals, six assists). Hrivik leads the Wolf Pack in goals, assists, points, and plus/minus rating (plus-three) in 2016-17.

Cristoval Nieves recorded an assist on Nov. 11 at Rochester, and he has registered four assists/points in the last seven games. The Rangers' second round pick (59th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft ranks second on Hartford in assists (five) and ranks third in points (six) this season, and he also leads all Wolf Pack rookies in assists and points in 2016-17.

Gabriel Fontaine, C, Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL) - Fontaine recorded two points (one goal, one assist) in three games last week. The Rangers' sixth round pick (171st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has registered a point in 11 of his first 14 QMJHL games this season, recording 15 points (seven goals, eight assists). He ranks fifth on the Huskies in points per game thus far this season (1.07).

Brad Morrison, C, Prince George Cougars (WHL) - Morrison registered a goal/point in each of Prince George's two games last week, tallying three points (two goals, one assist). He notched two points (one goal, one assist) and posted a plus-three rating on Nov. 12 at Kamloops. The Rangers' fourth round pick (113th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft has registered a point in 15 of 20 games this season, recording 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists). Morrison leads Prince George in points, is tied for the team lead in assists, and ranks second in goals in 2016-17.

Ty Ronning, RW, Vancouver Giants (WHL) - Ronning played in four games last week - two with Vancouver and two with Team WHL in the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series. He recorded one assist in two games with Team WHL, and he also registered one assist over two games with the Giants last week. The Rangers' seventh round pick (201st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has tallied a point in 13 of 18 WHL games this season. Ronning is tied for second on the team in assists (nine), ranks third in points (16), and ranks fourth in goals (seven) this season.

Tyler Wall, G, UMass-Lowell (NCAA) - Wall stopped 20 of 21 shots he faced and earned a win on Nov. 13 against the University of Maine. The Rangers' sixth round pick (174th overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has posted a 7-2-1 record, along with a 1.96 GAA, a .925 SV%, and 1 SO in 10 appearances this season. Wall has also earned a win in four of his last five appearances, posting a 2.01 GAA and a .922 SV% in those contests. He is tied for third in the NCAA in wins, is tied for 10th in GAA, and is tied for 12th in SV% this season.

Sergey Zborovskiy, D, Regina Pats (WHL) - Zborovskiy played in four games last week - two with Regina and two with Team Russia in the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series. The Rangers' third round pick (79th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft posted a plus-two rating in his two games with Team Russia. Zborovskiy tallied an assist over two games with Regina.
