- Mika Zibanejadrecorded two points (one goal, one assist), and tied for game-highs with four shots on goal and 13 faceoff wins (13-for-24; 54.2%) in 22:05 of ice time. He was selected as the game's Third Star. Zibanejad tallied a point on 10 consecutive goals the Rangers scored between Jan. 19 at Boston through his goal in the second period of tonight's game. According to NHL Stats & Information, Zibanejad is the first player in Rangers history who has factored in on 10 consecutive goals scored by the team (he entered the game as one of two Rangers in franchise history who factored in on eight consecutive goals by the team, along with Rod Gilbert. He is also the ninth player in NHL history who has factored in on 10 or more consecutive goals for his team, and it is the 13th such instance in NHL history that a player has recorded a point on 10 or more consecutive goals for his team (per NHL Stats & Information). Zibanejad has posted a multi-point game in each of the last three games (four goals, four assists over the span), and he has also posted a multi-point game in four of the last five contests (six goals, four assists). He has recorded a goal in five of the last seven games (nine goals, six assists over the span), and he has also registered a point in eight of the last nine games (nine goals, eight assists). Zibanejad recorded his team-leading 31st assist and team-leading 52nd point of the 2018-19 season in tonight's game, and he has now established new career-highs in both assists and points. He has logged at least 20:00 of ice time in each of the last six games and in nine of the last 10 contests.
- Chris Kreidertallied the first goal of the game, recorded three shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating in 19:18 of ice time. He extended his point streak to three games (two goals, one assist), and he has recorded eight points (four goals, four assists) in the last eight games. Kreider leads the Rangers in goals (24), is tied for the team lead in plus/minus rating (plus-six), and ranks second in points (40) this season. He has tallied 40 or more points in four of the last five seasons.
- Adam McQuaidrecorded a goal, which was his first goal as a Ranger, tied for the game-high with two takeaways, and was credited with three hits.
- Mats Zuccarellotallied an assist and tied for the game-high with four shots on goal while skating in a team-high 22:15 of ice time. He has registered a point in each of the last eight games which he has played, and he has tallied 14 points (five goals, nine assists) over the span.
