  • Mika Zibanejadtied a single-game career-high with four points (two goals, two assists), including three power play points (one power play goal, two power play assists), and registered the game-winning goal. He was selected as the game's First Star. Zibanejad posted a four-point game for the fourth time in his NHL career and for the third time this season. He extended his point streak to three games (two goals, four assists), and he has recorded 22 points (seven goals, 15 assists) in the last 22 games. Zibanejad leads the Rangers in assists (27) and points (41) this season. Zibanejad has reached the 40-point plateau for the fourth time in his NHL career and has done so in fewer games (46) than in any other season of his NHL career. He has also registered 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) in 20 career games against the Hurricanes; his 20 points are the most he has tallied against one NHL opponent, and his eight goals are tied for the most he has recorded against one NHL opponent.
  • Mats Zuccarellotied a single-game career-high with three assists and registered two power play assists. He posted a three-assist game for the seventh time in his NHL career.
