Kevin Shattenkirk Injury Update

New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk has a meniscus tear in his knee and will undergo surgery. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Bryan Kelly at Hospital for Special Surgery. Shattenkirk will be sidelined indefinitely.

Shattenkirk has skated in 46 games with the Rangers this season, registering five goals and 18 assists for 23 points.
