WINNING TIME - The Rangers won their second straight game and have won five of their last seven games, earning a point in 11 of their last 15 contests (10-4-1). New York earned its 38th win, tied for fourth in the league and became the seventh team in the league to pass the 80-point threshold.
POWER UP - New York tied the game in the third with a power play goal. Through 60 games, the Rangers' 26.8 power play percentage ranks second in the NHL behind Toronto (29.6). The Blueshirts have scored a power play goal in five of their last seven games and have tallied 19 goals on the man advantage in their last 22 games.
COMEBACK KINGS- For the 20th time this season, the Blueshirts came back to win, tied with Columbus for the most in the NHL. Tonight was the seventh third-period comeback from New York, tied for the fifth most in the league.
FAN FAVORITES - The Blueshirts tallied at least one point for the eighth time in their last nine games (7-1-1) and have earned a point in 14 of their last 16 games at MSG (12-2-2). The Rangers' .768-point percentage at home ranks fourth in the NHL.
OVERTIME HEROES - New York won their second game in the five-minute overtime session this season and first since Oct. 18 when Artemi Panarin won it in Toronto.
DUCK HUNTING - New York won its seventh straight game at home against the Ducks and has wins in 10 of its last 11 against them at MSG. It is the Blueshirts' longest home win streak against any one opponent in the league. Overall, the Rangers have won 11 of their last 14 games against Anaheim, dating back to Jan. 7, 2015 (11-2-1).
WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT NIGHT - The Rangers celebrated Women's Empowerment Night at Madison Square Garden in connection with Gender Equality Month.
