Fans were distraught when the Montreal Canadiens announced on Friday that forward Brendan Gallagher would miss at least eight weeks with a fractured left hand. But one young child named Logan took it upon himself to cheer Gallagher up with a get-well message.

The message appeared to do the trick because Gallagher responded with a positive message for his adorable superfan.

The Canadiens, minus Gallagher, will look to win their third straight game when they visit the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday (7 p.m. ET; CBC, TVA Sports, NHL.TV).
