Mika Zibanejad scored a goal and added an assist for Sweden, who cruised to a 7-0 win over Austria on Wednesday at the World Championships in Denmark.
Sweden improved to 4-0 on the tournament. Zibanejad picked up an assist on a Rickard Rakell goal in the second period, and potted his second goal of the tournament in the third period, with Lias Andersson picking up the secondary assist.
Zibanejad finished the game with two shots and a plus-3 rating in 16:56, while Andersson was a plus-1 in 12:45. Chris Kreider, Neal Pionk and Team USA are back in action tomorrow against Latvia at 10:15 am EST, while Filip Chytil and the Czech Republic take on Pavel Buchnevich, Igor Shesterkin and Russia at 2:15 pm EST.
