Vancouver Goldeneyes new jersey

The Vancouver Goldeneyes have entered their golden era of jerseys.

On Wednesday, the PWHL team unveiled new jerseys featuring the Goldeneyes logo ahead of their second season in the league.

The Goldeneyes will wear blue with cream accents for home games and cream with blue accents for away games. Both sweaters feature color blocking in a “V” shape in nod to the team’s postgame “flying V” celebration and Vancouver.

On the crest, the Goldeneyes logo is stitched in white, brown and yellow.

Five bronze stripes on the sleeves of the sweaters represent a common goldeneyes’ wings and a nod to the team’s logo.

Goldeneyes players Sarah Nurse, Jenn Gardiner and Caroline Harvey modeled the new uniforms in a post by the team on social media.

Last season, the Goldeneyes sported the PWHL’s inaugural season jerseys which featured “Vancouver” stitched across the crest.

The new jerseys will make their debut during the PWHL’s opening weekend on Saturday, Dec. 5 when the Goldeneyes host the Seattle Torrent at Pacific Coliseum.
