Denis Gurianov scored the only goal of a five-round shootout to give the Dallas Stars a 2-1 preseason win against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.
Paul Thompson scored for Florida and Patrick Eaves scored for Dallas in the second period.

Stars captain Jamie Benn had an assist and played 19:36 in his first game since having core-muscle surgery this offseason.

James Reimer made 34 saves for Florida. Antti Niemi made 27 saves for Dallas.
